Our 'Statement to Live By'

22nd Apr 2019

Our ‘statement to live by’ is “I know how to help others when they are in trouble.”

Time to talk: At St John Fisher we believe that it is very important to help each other.

Why do you think this is?

What are some of the different ways we can help each other?

How can we help someone in trouble in and out of school?

Perhaps we can help others by simply doing the right thing ourselves, and by setting a great example. Perhaps we can help others by talking to a grown up and sharing our concerns and worries about others?

Perhaps we can make good suggestions if someone is thinking about making poor choices?

Perhaps we can show someone who has made a mistake, and is sorry, that he or she is forgiven and can start again by being kind?

Perhaps we can take time to listen actively to someone in trouble?
